I'm finished making my cards and ended up with five different designs - a bit excessive, but I enjoyed every minute. Now, just need to get them sorted, addressed and stamped. I'm pleased to have that done before the 5th.
E & I had a date night which included our traditional dinner at Chili's and a wonderful mixed media program at the high school. Three different orchestras performed various pieces while we watched a slide show of the student's art. Wow - what a talented group of kids! My favorite was Perseus by Soon Hee Newbold. Perseus was the hero who killed Medusa and claimed Andromeda, having rescued her from a sea monster. The art students heard the story and music then produced works inspired by the tale. Quite impressive.
