Good mistakes

Most of us realize that not all mistakes are bad, right? That every blunder is actually a chance to grow & learn. I made a little mistake yesterday that I'm excited to share. I purchased this awesome "Punch Around the Page" Optic Dot punch by Martha Stewart and was playing around trying to get it just right.

Here is how the punch was intended to look: 

My paper slipped and this is what happened:

 

I pulled the paper out a bit more and got this:

and finally, I adjusted it a touch more and came up with this:

So, for about $14.99, I have four punches plus a corner punch. Not bad for a mistake!
