A little reading, a little scrapping!

Just finished The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet. I posted my review to both Good Reads and Virtual Library. Here's my review. Next on the 'ol bookshelf is The Memory of Running which I've had on my TBR for months and months.

Just finished a few more cards. Since this past Saturday was "National Scrapbook Day", I thought I'd enter one of the Studio Calico challenges. This card was originally made for Davinie's Card Challenge, but lo and behold - I didn't finish it in time. I was so happy to see that those SC gals extended the challenge through this week - HOORAY!! It's the little things in life, right!

This card was inspired by the other - just mixed up the colors a bit and added different rub-ons from the same October Afternoon Detours pack. So simple to use and I love the result.
