Happy Hump Day! Here's a layout for the Sunday Sketch over at
Studio Calico. For some reason, this layout didn't come together easily, I fussed over it for WAY too long and then finally it all connected. I wanted to capture just a few moments of our awesome trip to Jacksonville recently. These guys sure do adore each other! "A" always seems to wear a big, toothy grin - he's up to seven teeth now!
Most of the products are from the Colorbok "Friendly Forest" collection - love these colors! I also used blue skies glimmer mist and a few stamps from the
Dear Lizzy "warble" set.
I took at 30+ pictures of this layout before I got the color right. I tried morning sun from the front of the house, then tried the back, then tried a white background - no, needs to be a black background. Tried different angles and positions. Tried different editing options in Picasa. And you know what? I ended up using the very
first photo I took!
